Implemented for school children of a contracted school following consent from their parents, this is a comprehensive program that assesses, guides and supports good health for students. It promotes health improvement through systematic periodic multi-system physical and emotional health screening, practical non-prescriptive recommendations for certain conditions that can be managed through lifestyle adjustments, formal medical referrals if a health concern is detected, and regular monitoring. At the core of the program is a baseline health record, which includes the individual’s immunization record. Information and data capture and management – from registration, through sequential assessments and reviews spanning the total duration of membership -is supported seamlessly by a custom-developed state-of-the-art ICT application that is aligned with national legislation, policies, standards and regulation.
